Light Bars as their name suggest are flying
bars with their movement in the Y direction.
The Bar is assembled with the help of
pullies, steel wire rope, geared motor
limit switches and control box. The bar
can move a distance of 8 mtrs however
the limit has been set as 7.5 mtrs to
facilitate easy operations. The main purpose
of these bar is to fix the Lights , clean
the lights, position them on the stage
floor and send them above the stage floor
in between the teasers. Light Bars are
of two types
Dimmable Light Bar
2. Intelligent Light Bar
Dimmable Light Bars
carry 230 V AC controlled outputs which
are available from the Dimmer rack through
the Patch Panel. Power outlets are metal
clad industrial grade 30A Power sockets.
Each socket is uniquely ferruled and labeled.
There is a trailing cable at two locations
on each bar.
The stage has three numbers of Bars distributed
on the stage. Two numbers constitute the
bars used for KEY and FILL lights whereas
the third bar is used for CYC lights.
Intelligent Light Bars
carry 230 V AC outputs which are available
from the MCB DB installed in Dimmer Room
near the Patch Panel.
Power outlets on bars are 15A regular
3 pin Power sockets. Each socket is uniquely
ferruled and labeled. There are 2 nos.
3 PIN XLR ConnectorS fixed on the Light
Bar. This provides RS485 signal decoded
into the lighting industry specs DMX signal
. The signal comes from the DMX splitter
installed in the dimmer room. This bar
shall only carry intelligent lights. There

Moving Set Bar
Bhawan auditorium stage has three set
bars distributed evenly on stage in between
various Light and Frill Bars
main purpose of these bar is to suspend
sceneries, posters, artefacts and roll
them down during the show or form a floral
backdrop before a show.
Set Bars move in the Y axis. The Bar movement
is facilitated with the help of 4 pulley
blocks on which steel wire rope moves
whose movement is controlled by a geared
motor, limit switches and control box.
The bar can move a distance of 8 mtrs;
however the limit has been set as 7.5
mtrs to facilitate easy operations.
